Over 500 towns and villages in Ukraine left without electricity due to bad weather

As of Tuesday morning, February 25, some 504 populated areas in twelve regions of Ukraine were left without electricity due to bad weather conditions, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine has reported.

“Bad weather conditions caused blackouts in 504 populated areas in seven regions, in particular: Mykolayiv region – 147 populated areas, Odesa region — 124, Dnipropetrovsk region — 69, Kherson region — 52, Zaporizhzhia region — 41, Donetsk region — 25, Poltava region — 11, Vinnytsia region — 11, Sumy region — 8, Kirovohrad region – 8, Cherkasy region — 5, Luhansk region — 3,” reads the report.

Emergency response teams of regional power distribution companies were involved in the restoration of power supply.
