Some 380 towns and villages in Ukraine left without electricity due to bad weather

As of Tuesday morning, February 11, some 380 populated areas in 11 regions of Ukraine were left without electricity due to bad weather conditions, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine has reported.

“Bad weather conditions (squall, snow and rain mixed) caused blackouts in 380 populated areas in 11 regions, in particular: Ivano-Frankivsk region – 93 populated areas, Lviv region – 75, Chernihiv region – 47, Poltava region – 42, Sumy region – 40, Kyiv region – 24, Cherkasy region – 20, Odesa region – 17, Dnipropetrovsk region – 10, Kirovohrad region – 7, and Zakarpattia region – 5,” reads the report.

Emergency response teams of regional power distribution companies were involved in the restoration of power supply.
