Three cities in Luhansk region left without water supply

In Luhansk region, residents of Novodruzhesk, Pryvillia and Lysychansk remain without water for the third day because of debts of the municipal water supply company Lysychanskvodokanal, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

“Over the past day, 76 cubic meters of technical and 40 cubic meters of drinking water were delivered to the population (including 61 cubic meters of technical and 40 cubic meters of drinking water from the State Emergency Service). 18 people and 7 pieces of equipment from the State Emergency Service have been involved,” reads the report.

As reported, on August 19, because of debts for power supply, the facilities of Lysychanskvodokanal in the city of Lysychansk were cut off. Residents of Novodruzhesk, Pryvillia and partially Lysychansk (about 80,000 inhabitants) were left without water supply.
