Bad weather leaves 84 populated areas in Ukraine without electricity

As of Thursday morning, 84 populated areas in four regions of Ukraine remained without electricity due to adverse weather conditions, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine has reported.

"On February 14, bad weather conditions (snow, wind gusts) caused blackouts in 84 populated areas in four regions, in particular: Cherkasy region – 10 populated areas, Kyiv region – 3, Chernihiv region – 36, Sumy region – 35,” reads the report.

Emergency teams of regional power distribution companies have started to conduct needed repairs to resume electricity supply.
