"The entry into Poltava region will be closed for all means of transport starting from 14:00, December 26 due to traffic congestion," the Ukravtodor State Road Agency of Ukraine posted on Facebook.

As noted, traffic congestion has been already eliminated on R-42 Lubny-Myrhorod-Opishnia and T-17-16 Khorol-Semenivka-Kremenchuk roads. The challenging situation is still observed on M-03 Kyiv-Kharkiv and H-08 Boryspil-Dnipro-Zaporizhzhia-Mariupol highways

The drivers are asked to refrain temporarily from traveling for long distances and be especially careful and attentive on the road amid the current adverse weather conditions.
