Bad weather leaves 60 towns and villages in Ukraine without electricity

As of Tuesday morning, 60 populated areas in three regions of Ukraine were left without electricity supply because of adverse weather conditions.

This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

"Bad weather conditions (sleet, wind gusts) caused blackouts in 60 populated areas in three regions of Ukraine, particularly: 32 populated areas - in Odesa region, 26 – in Kirovohrad and 2 – in Mykolaiv regions,” reads a report.

Emergency teams of Oblenergo were involved into the restoration of electricity supply.

A total of 1,292 people and 856 units of equipment from Ukravtodor were attracted to ensure road travel.
