Bad weather leaves over 200 towns and villages in Ukraine without electricity

As of Tuesday morning, September 25, more than 200 populated areas in seven regions of Ukraine were left without electricity supply because of bad weather conditions.

This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

“Adverse weather conditions (rain, wind gusts) caused blackouts in 205 populated areas in seven regions, namely: Zhytomyr region - 91 populated areas, Kyiv region - 54, Volyn region - 23, Rivne region - 21, Odesa region - 12, Sumy region - 2 and Kirovohrad region - 2 populated areas," reads the report.

Emergency teams of Oblenergo were involved to carry out needed repair works to resume electricity supply.
