Foreign Ministry confirms hospitalization of two Ukrainians in Genoa

Two Ukrainian citizens, who were injured in Genoa bridge collapse, have been hospitalized. Medical condition is stable, there is no threat to their life.

"Two injured Ukrainian citizens have been hospitalized. Medical condition is stable, there is no threat to their life," Deputy Director of the Consular Service Department of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine Vasyl Kyrylych told Ukrinform.

As a reminder, there are no Ukrainian citizens among those killed as a result of bridge collapse in Genoa.

On Tuesday, August 14, the motorway bridge collapsed in the northwest Italian city of Genoa, killing 39 people and badly injuring 16. Cars and trucks plummeted 45m on to rail tracks, buildings and a river along with slabs of concrete.
