Bad weather leaves 141 towns and villages in Ukraine without electricity

As of Saturday morning, 141 populated areas in four regions of Ukraine were left without electricity supply because of bad weather conditions.

This is reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

“Adverse weather conditions (hail, thunderstorm, wind gusts) caused blackouts in 141 populated areas in four regions: Poltava region – 82 populated areas, Cherkasy region – 27, Zaporizhzhia region – 24 and Chernihiv region – 8,” reads the report.

Emergency teams of Oblenergo were involved to carry out needed repair works to resume electricity supply.
