No Ukrainians among those injured from wildfires in Athens - Kyrylych

No Ukrainians have been killed or injured from wildfires raging on the outskirts of Athens (Greece).

Deputy Director of the Foreign Ministry’s Consular Service Department Vasyl Kyrylych wrote this on Twitter.

"According to preliminary information, there are no Ukrainians among those injured," he wrote.

At the same time, he informed that about 200 people were injured and at least 24 people were killed as a result of wildfires.

On July 23, a wildfire swept through a small resort town near the Greek capital Athens. The Greek authorities announced the evacuation of residents of coastal areas near Athens. Due to strong and gusty winds, the fire spread rapidly, the capital was enveloped in dense smoke.
