Poroshenko orders Zhytomyr regional leadership to help road accident victims

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has instructed the leadership of Zhytomyr region to provide the necessary assistance to those injured in a road accident early on Friday and hospitalized.

The head of state wrote this on his Twitter page.

"I offer sincere condolences to the families of those who perished in a terrible accident that took place in Zhytomyr region and took the lives of ten people. I instructed the regional leadership to provide all the necessary assistance to the victims who are in hospital," Poroshenko wrote.

As reported, ten people were killed and ten more were injured after a minibus crashed into a large-size truck on the Kyiv-Chop highway near Zhytomyr early on July 20. Four people are in serious condition. According to preliminary information, the driver of the minibus, moving in the direction of Zhytomyr, collided with a DAF semi-trailer truck.
