Almost 40 towns and villages in Ukraine still remain without electricity

As of 7:00 on July 2, adverse weather conditions (thunderstorm, wind gusts) left 42 populated areas in two regions of Ukraine without electricity.

This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

”Bad weather conditions caused blackouts in 42 populated areas in two regions of Ukraine, in particular: 38 populated areas – in Dnipropetrovsk region and 4 populated areas – in Luhansk region,” reads the report.

Emergency teams of Oblenergo continued to conduct repair works to resume electricity supply.
