High-fire risk announced in Ukraine's Carpathian region

Extreme (5 class) level of fire risk is expected in Ivano-Frankivsk region of Ukraine.

This is reported by the Department for Civil Protection of Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration.

“On April 19-21, extreme (5 class) level of fire hazard is expected in the city of Ivano-Frankivsk and its region," the report reads.

On April 18, a considerable avalanche danger still remains in the Carpathian region.
