Emergency Service warns Ukrainians of critical fire weather conditions

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine has issued a warning for critical fire weather conditions expected in some regions of Ukraine on April 17-20.

“On April 17-20, extreme (5 class) level of fire hazard is expected in western, Zhytomyr, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv regions, as well as throughout Ukraine on April 18-20. High (4 class) level of fire hazard is expected in eastern, southern (except for Mykolaiv), Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Chernihiv regions on April 17,” State Emergency Service reported with a reference to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.

In Kyiv region, extreme (5 class) level of fire hazard is expected on April 17-20, high (4 class) level of fire hazard may prevail in eastern districts of the region.
