Almost 70 populated areas in five Ukrainian regions remain without electricity

As of Wednesday morning, 69 populated areas in five Ukrainian regions remained without electricity.

This is reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

"Adverse weather conditions caused blackouts in 69 populated areas in five regions of Ukraine, particularly: 46 populated areas - in Odesa region, 11 - in Cherkasy region, 6 - in Dnipropetrovsk region, 5 – in Zaporizhzhia region and 1 - in Donetsk region,” the report reads.

The emergency teams of regional power distribution companies work to restore the electricity supply.
