Ukraine’s Emergency Service: 737 towns and villages left without electricity due to bad weather

As of Friday morning, severe weather conditions left 737 populated areas in ten Ukrainian regions without power.

This is reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

"Bad weather conditions (snow, wind gusts) caused blackouts in 737 populated areas in ten regions of Ukraine, particularly: 502 populated areas - in Odesa region, 153 – in Cherkasy region, 33 – in Chernihiv, 14 – in Poltava, 9 – in Kirovohrad, 9 – in Mykolaiv, 8 – in Donetsk, 6 – in Volyn, 2 – in Sumy and 1 – in Vinnytsa regions,” reads a report.

Emergency teams of Oblenergo are involved into the restoration of electricity supply.
