OSCE records 414 blasts in Donbas

The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine (OSCE SMM) has recorded 414 explosions in Donbas, according to a report of the OSCE mission for the period from 19.30 on January 9 to 19.30 on January 10.

"In Donetsk region, the SMM recorded more ceasefire violations, including about 410 explosions, compared with the previous reporting period (about 235 explosions)," reads the report.

At the same time, in Lugansk region, the mission recorded a decrease in the number of ceasefire violations.

"In Luhansk region, the SMM recorded fewer ceasefire violations (four explosions), compared with the previous reporting period (six explosions))," the OSCE report says.

Earlier, the OSCE SMM reported that over 400,000 ceasefire violations were recorded in the Donbas area in 2017.
