Bad weather leaves almost 170 towns and villages without electricity

Adverse weather conditions have left 167 towns and villages in Ukraine without electricity, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reports.

“On September 3, bad weather conditions (rain, thunderstorm, gusts of wind) caused blackouts in 167 populated areas in four regions, particularly: 73 villages and towns - in Lviv region, 51 – in Ivano-Frankivsk region, 37 –in Ternopil region, 6 – in Chernivtsi region,” reads a report.

Emergency teams of Oblenergo have started to conduct needed repairs to resume electricity supply.
