215 towns and villages in five regions of Ukraine remain without electricity

As of July 3, 2017, 215 towns and villages in five regions of Ukraine remain without electricity due to bad weather conditions.

This is reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

As reported, 109 populated areas remain without electricity in Sumy region, 76 – in Cherkasy region, 17 – in Kirovohrad region, 9 – in Kyiv region and 4 – in Chernihiv region.

Over the past 24 hours, the emergency response and restoration teams of regional energy companies resumed electric power supply in 530 villages and towns.

As a result of bad weather, 21 people (including a child) got injured in the territory of Kyiv, Cherkasy, Sumy, Poltava, Kirovohrad and Ternopil regions, according to preliminary data.
