Bad weather left 188 towns and villages in Ukraine without electricity

In Ukraine, adverse weather conditions left 188 populated areas in six regions without electricity.

This has been reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service.

"On June 23, bad weather conditions (rain, squally wind) caused blackouts in 188 populated areas in six regions of Ukraine," the report reads.

In particular, 82 populated areas in Lviv region, 58 - in Odesa region, 20 - in Khmelnytsky region, 19 - in Ternopil region, 6 - in Kirovohrad and 3 - in Volyn regions were left without electricity supply.

Emergency teams of Oblenergo have started to conduct needed repairs to resume electricity supply.
