Part of Avdiivka still without gas supply

As of morning of June 8, the water supply in Avdiivka was restored. As a result of combat actions and damage to the underground gas pipeline, there is a partial lack of gas supply, and the work is underway to identify the site of the damage.

This has been reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

"On June 7, as a result of military operations near the city of Avdiivka, the underground gas pipeline was damaged, which led to a decrease of pressure in the gas supply system in the city of Avdiivka, where about 22,000 people live. As of 7 am, June 8, the water supply was restored, while the gas supply in Avdiivka was partially stopped. The work is underway to inspect and identify the site of the damage, after which the repair works will be carried out and the gas supply will be restored," the report reads.

As reported, on June 6, the Donetsk water filtration station was without electricity supply.
