Ukrainians warned of heavy rains, thunderstorms in western regions of Ukraine

Today, on May 24, heavy rains and thunderstorms are expected in the western regions of Ukraine.

This has been reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

"According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, on May 24, thunderstorms, hail and squalls of 17-22 m/s are expected in Volyn, Rivne, Lviv, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Khmelnytsky and Zakarpattia regions, and patchy rain - in Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk and Chernivtsi regions, and heavy rains - in Zakarpattia and in the Carpathian mountains," reads a statement.
