Four people died from hypothermia in Ukraine for last week - Health Ministry

For the last week four people in Ukraine died from hypothermia.

Deputy Health Minister Oleksandr Linchevsky said this at a meeting of the interdepartmental operative headquarters of the state commission on technogenic and ecological safety and emergencies on worsening of weather conditions in Ukraine, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"As of today, 51 cases of hypothermia and frostbite have been registered in health care facilities. Unfortunately, four people died from hypothermia. All victims were from Lviv region," Linchevsky said.

According to him, most cases of hypothermia were recorded in Volyn and Zakarpattia regions during the last week.
