Emergency Service: 128 Ukrainian villages and towns still without electricity

A total of 128 populated areas in five regions of Ukraine still remain without electricity because of adverse weather conditions that occurred on November 12-14 (snowstorm, wet snow, gusts of wind, and icy condition of roads), the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reports.

In particular, as of Tuesday morning, November 15, the following populated areas were without electricity: 51 villages and towns in Ternopil region, 35 in Khmelnytsky region, 22 – in Ivano-Frankivsk, 11 – in Chernivtsi region, and 9 – in Lviv region.

Emergency teams of Oblenergo are involved in the works on restoring electricity supply in these regions.

Also, on November 14-15, electricity supply was resumed in 860 villages and towns in 13 regions, which were cut from electricity because of bad weather conditions.
