CEC registers over 220 international observers in Ukraine’s local elections

The Central Election Commission (CEC) has accredited another 17 official international observers to monitor Ukraine's local elections, according to the commission’s press service.

“The Commission accredited 17 official observers in the local elections on October 25, 2020. In particular: two - from the Czech Republic, five - from the NGO Coordination Resource Centre, three - from the International Good Governance Fund, five - from the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, and two - from the Public Union ‘International Human Rights Community,” reads a report.

Thus, 222 official observers have already been accredited in the Ukrainian local elections: 16 - from four foreign states and 206 - from eight international organizations.
