More than 100,000 Ukrainians changed place of voting

More than 100,000 Ukrainians changed their voting address in the upcoming local elections.

Head of the Service of the State Voter Register, Oleksandr Stelmakh stated this at a press conference, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

"Since July 1, 2020, the agencies of the State Register of Voters have processed 105,290 applications of voters to change their voting address. Some 100,081 applications were satisfied, which is 95% of the total," he said.

He also noted that the largest number of such appeals were received in Kyiv region, Odesa region and the city of Kyiv.

Local elections in Ukraine are scheduled for October 25, 2020.
