Ukraine’s Central Election Commission to establish final voting results until August 5

The Central Election Commission of Ukraine has to establish the final results of snap parliamentary elections until August 5.

“The Central Election Commission of Ukraine has to establish the final results and draw up the final protocols of the nation-wide constituency until August 5. We hope that we will do this even earlier and in all single-mandate constituencies as well,” CEC Chairwoman Tetiana Slipachuk said at a briefing on Thursday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

As reported, Ukraine’s snap parliamentary elections were held on July 21.

The CEC processed all the electronic voting protocols as early as last Friday, July 26. According to the results, five parties entered the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine: the Servant of the People party (43.16% of the vote), the Opposition Platform - For Life (13.05%), the Batkivshchyna party (8.18%); the European Solidarity party (8.10%), the Holos party (5.82%).

The CEC completed the acceptance of original paper protocols on July 30.

As of July 31, the Central Election Commission recognized 134 people's deputies as elected.
