Sociologists name five parties likely to enter Ukraine’s Parliament

Five parties are likely to overcome the five-percent threshold in Ukraine’s parliamentary elections and enter the Verkhovna Rada.

According to the results of the poll conducted by the Sociological Group "Rating", these parties are the Servant of the People party, the Opposition Platform - For Life, the Voice party, the Batkivshchyna party and the European Solidarity party.

"47.1% of those who intend to vote and defined their choice are going to vote for the Servant of the People party. Other parties that are likely to overcome the threshold are the Opposition Platform - For Life (11.1%), the Voice party (8.1%), the Batkivshchyna party (7.3%) and the European Solidarity party (5%)," the statement reads.

The Strength and Honor party may garner 4.1% of the vote, the Civic Position party - 2.2%, the Radical Party 2.1%, the Svoboda Party - 2.1%, the Ukrainian Strategy party - 1.9%, the Opposition Bloc - 1.8%, the Samopomich party - 1.2%. The rating of other political forces is less than 1%.

At the same time, 77% of respondents expressed their unequivocal readiness to vote in snap parliamentary elections on July 21, 2019. Another 12% indicated that they are likely to vote, 8% said they will not vote, 3% are undecided.

The poll was conducted on June 8-12 among 2,000 respondents.
