CEC: Official election results to be announced after Easter

The announcement of official results of Ukraine’s presidential elections may be delayed due to holidays and days off.

“Easter is one of the great holidays for Ukrainians, so we worry that we may not receive the information on the absence of lawsuits from the judicial authorities. We will be able to establish and announce the results tentatively on April 30,” said Yevhen Radchenko, a member of the Central Election Commission of Ukraine, TSN reports.

According to him, the preliminary election results on the basis of electronic protocols will be known in about two or three days.

As reported, the second round of Ukraine’s presidential elections was held on Sunday, April 21.

The Central Election Commission of Ukraine has already processed 80.78% of electronic protocols on the vote count in the second round in Ukraine's presidential elections. 73.09% of voters supported comic Volodymyr Zelensky.
