Over 50,000 police officers to guard election commissions

More than 50,000 police officers will be involved in guarding district and precinct election commissions in Ukraine, Deputy Head of the National Police Oleksandr Fatsevych has said.

According to the media liaisons department of the National Police, nearly 11,000 law enforcers will be involved in ensuring public order in the streets.

The report notes that in general, almost 72,400 police officers will be involved in maintaining public order during the second round of presidential elections in Ukraine.
