More than 10 million Ukrainians did not participate in presidential election

More than 10 million Ukrainians did not participate in voting in the first round of Ukraine's presidential election.

This is evidenced by data posted on the website of the Central Election Commission.

Thus, according to the Central Election Commission, the voters’ list included 29,468,783 people.

At the same time, the number of voters who received election ballots at the presidential election is 18,711, 933 people.

Thus, 10,756,850 voters did not come to the polls.

As reported, the presidential elections were held in Ukraine on March 31. There were 39 candidates on the ballot paper.

According to the results of the National Exit Poll, comedian Volodymyr Zelensky leads in the first round of voting in the presidential election with 30.6%, followed by incumbent President Petro Poroshenko with 17.8% of the vote and Batkivshchyna Party leader Yulia Tymoshenko with 14.2% of the vote.
