Over 560 international observers arrived in Ukraine over past day

More than 560 international observers have arrived in Ukraine over the past day, according to State Border Guard Service’s Spokesperson Oleh Slobodyan.

"Over the past day, the State Border Guard Service officers at the state border have registered more than 560 observers for the entry to Ukraine. In general, 1,150 such persons have been already registered,” Slobodyan wrote on Facebook.

Earlier, Head of the State Border Guard Service Petro Tsyhykal stated that observers from the Russian Federation had not crossed the Ukrainian state border.

As Ukrinform reported, the Central Election Commission registered 2,344 official observers from 19 international organizations and 17 foreign countries. At the same time, the Commission refused to register 24 citizens from the Russian Federation as observers from the ODIHR mission for the March 31 presidential election in Ukraine.
