Ukrainians in Poland getting ready to participate in presidential election

Ukrainians will be able to vote abroad in the March 31 presidential election at 102 polling stations in 72 countries.

One of the largest Ukrainian diasporas in the world - more than a million people - lives in Poland. People willing to vote will be able to do so at Ukrainian consular offices in Gdansk, Krakow, Lublin, as well as at the Ukrainian Embassy in Warsaw.

So far, 30,000 Ukrainians temporarily residing in Poland have already registered to vote in Ukraine's presidential election. Over the past two weeks, more than 200 Ukrainians have written applications to be included in the list of voters.

The head of the consular section at the Ukrainian Embassy in Poland, Svitlana Krysa, called on all Ukrainian citizens, who have not yet written their applications and have not been included in the consular register but are planning to come to vote, to do so as soon as possible.
