On Monday, power outage schedules to apply only to industrial consumers

In parts of Ukraine, on Monday, March 9, from 08:00 until the end of the day, hourly electricity outage schedules and power limitation schedules will apply only to industrial consumers.

That is according to Ukrenergo on Facebook, as reported by Ukrinform.

“The reason for these restrictions is the impact of Russian missile and drone attacks on the energy system,” the company said.

Ukrenergo warned that the situation in the energy system could change. Information about the timing and scale of outages will be provided by regional energy companies on their official social media pages.

As reported, overnight on March 7, Russian forces carried out their fifth large-scale missile and drone strike of the year on Ukraine’s energy facilities.
