Power outage schedules to be applied in some regions on Monday

In parts of Ukraine on Monday, March 2, from 08:00 until the end of the day, hourly electricity outage schedules will apply for household consumers, while industrial users will face power restrictions.

Ukrenergo stated this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"The reason for the restrictions is the consequences of Russian missile and drone attacks on the energy system," the statement reads.

Ukrenergo warns that the situation in the energy system may change. The time and extent of outages will be communicated by the regional energy companies on their official social media pages.

As Ukrinform previously reported, NEC Ukrenergo received three powerful autotransformers from the Japan International Cooperation Agency under the "Emergency Recovery and Reconstruction Project."
