Ukrainian Startup Fund launches second wave of Startup EDGE grant program

Ukrainian startups in the fields of sustainable technologies, machine learning, and educational innovation can receive up to €40,000 for scaling.

The Ministry of Digital Transformation announced the program on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

“The Ukrainian Startup Fund is opening the second wave of registrations for the Startup EDGE grant program. Nine teams developing innovations in DeepTech, GreenTech, and EdTech can secure up to €40,000 to scale Ukrainian technologies,” the statement said.

The total budget of the program is €1 million.

The project is implemented with the support of the EU4Innovation East program and is aimed at developing early-stage innovative startups and strengthening the competitiveness of Ukraine’s startup ecosystem in Europe and globally.

Grant funding amounts to up to €20,000 for pre-seed startups and up to €40,000 for seed-stage startups.

Applications are open until March 20, 2026.

As reported, Ukrainian-Estonian geospatial intelligence tools developer Farsight Vision recently closed a seed investment round worth €7.2 million.
