Emergency power outages introduced across Kyiv

Emergency power outages have been implemented in all districts of Kyiv.

DTEK Group said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Kyiv: due to the consequences of the massive attack and overloads on the grid, emergency outages have been introduced in the city. Please note that scheduled outage timetables do not apply during emergency outages," the statement reads.

Power engineers are asking consumers who still have electricity to use high-power appliances alternately in order to avoid local breakdowns.

On the night of January 8-9, Russia launched a massive attack on Kyiv, leaving 417,000 consumers without electricity and 6,000 apartment buildings without heating.
