Russia launches 17th combined attack on Ukraine’s gas infrastructure damaging Naftogaz production facilities

Russian occupiers have carried out their seventeenth combined attack on the gas transportation infrastructure of Naftogaz Group, damaging facilities essential for gas extraction.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported on the Naftogaz Group website.

"This marks the seventeenth combined attack on Naftogaz Group's gas transportation infrastructure. Production facilities that ensure gas extraction have been damaged. Fortunately, there were no casualties," stated Naftogaz Group CEO Roman Chumak.

"Efforts to eliminate the consequences of the shelling and assess the damage are currently underway. Naftogaz Group is taking all necessary measures to restore operations at the facilities targeted by the enemy. We are doing, and will continue to do, everything possible to keep the country supplied with gas," Chumak emphasized.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, Ukraine’s Minister of Energy Herman Halushchenko stated that on March 7, Russia launched a massive missile and drone attack targeting energy and gas infrastructure across multiple regions of Ukraine.
