Helsinki supports transfer of proceeds from frozen Russian assets to support Ukraine

Finland supports the seizure of Russian assets and reprofiling profits from those assets to use them in supporting Ukraine.

Finland's Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Ville Tavio said this in an interview with Ukrinform.

"We take a favorable view of the seizure of frozen Russian assets and the repurposing of revenue from those assets to support Ukraine. A legal solution for repurposing frozen assets must be found together with partner countries," Tavio said.
