Russia's strikes on grain exports are blows to global security – President

Russia's efforts to destroy grain exports in the Black Sea region are planned blows to global security, aimed at provoking crises in various regions of the planet.

President Volodymyr Zelensky said this in his video address, Ukrinform reports.

The Head of State noted that he met with Minster for Foreign Affairs of Turkey Hakan Fidan in Kyiv on Friday, stressing that it was an important meeting.

"This is both a security component, and our joint diplomatic work, and fundamental humanitarian things that we do together. In particular, this is the release of our people from Russian captivity. We talked about the situation that arose due to the vile Russian attacks on grain exports in the Black Sea region. It is obvious that these are blows to global security. They are planned, they are aimed at provoking crises in various regions of the planet," Zelensky emphasized.

According to the President, Ukraine, together with Turkey, can restore security step by step, which has already happened many times.

"I believe we will do even more together," said Zelensky.
