Ukraine exports more than 3.1M t of grain

Ukraine has already exported 3.122 million tonnes of grain and leguminous crops in the 2023/2024 marketing year (MY, between July 1 and August 14, 2023).

This is said in a report issued by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, according to Ukrinform.

In particular, Ukraine exported 1.250 million tonnes of wheat, 385 thousand tonnes of barley, 0.6 thousand tonnes of rye, and 1.481 million tonnes of corn.

For comparison: in 2022/2023 MY, as of August 15, 2022, Ukraine exported 2,650 million tonnes of grain and leguminous crops, including 658,000 tonnes of wheat, 226,000 tonnes of barley, and 1,754 million tonnes of corn. During the indicated period last year, Ukraine did not export rye.

In the first 14 days of August 2023, Ukraine exported 848,000 tonnes of grain and leguminous crops (948,000 tonnes in the first 15 days of August 2022), including 429,000 tonnes of wheat.

In 2023/2024, Ukraine exported 14.9 thousand tonnes of flour (5.8 thousand tonnes over the same period in 2022/2023).

As reported by Ukrinform, Ukraine exported almost 49 million tonnes of grain and leguminous crops in the 2022/2023 MY (between July 1, 2022 and June 30, 2023).
