Ukraine’s grain, legume exports over 2.7M t

In the 2023/2024 marketing year, as of August 9, 2023, Ukraine exported 2.762 million tons of grains and legumes.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, Ukrinform saw.

It is noted that in the current marketing year, Ukraine has already exported: 1.076 million tons of wheat, 349,000 tons of barley, 500 tons of rye, and 1.331 million tons of corn.

For comparison, in the 2022/2023 marketing year, as of August 12, 2022, Ukraine had exported 2.339 million tons of grains and legumes, including 589,000 tons of wheat, 202,000 tons of barley, and 1.537 million tons of corn. During the specified period last year, Ukraine did not export rye.

In the first nine days of August 2023, Ukraine exported 488,000 tons of grains and legumes (for the first 12 days of August last year it was 726,000 tons), including 255,000 tons of wheat (228,000 tons), 54,000 tons of barley (60,000t), and 178,000 tons of corn (435,000 tons).

In 2023/2024, Ukraine exported 12,900 tons of flour (5,400 tons were exported in 2022/2023).

As Ukrinform reported earlier, in the 2022/2023 marketing year (from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023) Ukraine exported almost 49 million tons of cereals and legumes.
