In the Vinnytsia region, the state has returned hydraulic structures worth ₴250 million located in the village of Olhopol, Haysyn district.

This was reported on Facebook by the press service of the Vinnytsia Regional Prosecutor's Office, according to Ukrinform.

"With the assistance of the Haisyn District Prosecutor's Office, the decision of the Economic Court of Vinnytsia region on the prosecutor's claim against an individual entrepreneur to return state property - hydraulic structures worth ₴250 million located in the village of Olhopol, Haisyn district - was enforced," the statement said.

Since 2005, the entrepreneur has been unreasonably using hydraulic structures for his own fishing activities, which resulted in no funds being received by the budget in the form of rent for the use of state property.

The prosecutor's office restored the legality of the violation of the state's interests in court and returned the hydraulic structures to the state.
