Ukraine exports almost 49M t of grains, pulses

In the 2022/2023 marketing year (MY) (from July 1, 2022, to June 30, 2023), Ukraine exported 48.996 million tonnes of grains and pulses.

According to Ukrinform, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine reported this.

It is noted that in 2022/2023 MY, as of June 30, Ukraine exported 16.836 million tonnes of wheat, 2.704 million tonnes of barley, 18,000 tonnes of rye, and 29.128 million tonnes of corn.

For comparison, from July 2021 to June 29, 2022, Ukraine exported 48.355 million tonnes of grains and pulses, including 18.72 million tonnes of wheat, 5.747 million tonnes of barley, 161,500 tonnes of rye, and 23.409 million tonnes of corn.

In June 2023, Ukraine exported 3.658 million tonnes of grains and pulses (1.256 million tonnes in 29 days of June last year), including 1.338 million tonnes of wheat (122,000 tonnes in June last year), 57,000 tonnes of barley (31,000 tonnes in June 2022), and 2.257 million tonnes of corn (1.092 million tonnes in June 2022). In June this year and in June last year, Ukraine did not export rye.

Since the beginning of 2022/2023 MY Ukraine exported 153,600 tonnes of flour (in 2021/2022 MY, 70,700 tonnes).

As reported earlier, according to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, in January-May 2023 Ukraine exported over 22.5 million tonnes of grains, including more than 14.3 million tonnes of corn, over 7.2 million tonnes of wheat, and over 977,000 tonnes of barley.
