Naftogaz leaves gas price for population unchanged for another year

Ukraine's state-owned gas company Naftogaz has extended the "Fixed" tariff plan for another year, with a price of UAH 7.96 per cubic meter (with VAT).

This was announced by the company's press service, Ukrinform reports.

"The gas price for household customers remains unchanged. This decision was made taking into account the martial law and the economic situation in Ukraine. Despite all the complexity of the situation, we will continue to keep the price of fuel for our citizens at the pre-war level", said Naftogaz CEO Oleksiy Chernyshov.

It is noted that Naftogaz continuously and stably supplies more than 12.4 million Ukrainian households with natural gas. All these customers receive gas under the annual “Fixed” tariff plan. The tariff is valid from May 1, 2023 to May 1, 2024, inclusive.
