Government approves mutual access to Ukraine, EU public procurement markets – Shmyhal

The Cabinet of Ministers has endorsed a decision of the EU-Ukraine Association Committee and the Association Council on mutual access to each other's public procurement markets.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced that on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"We are taking an important step towards EU membership. We are synchronizing Ukrainian and European standards in the field of public procurement. The decision of the EU-Ukraine Association Committee and the Association Council on mutual access to each other's public procurement markets was adopted," he wrote.

According to Shmyhal, this applies to central, regional, local authorities, as well as public law organizations of Ukraine and the European Union.

As reported, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a resolution defining electronic identification schemes and levels of trust in electronic identification tools in line with Ukrainian legislation and taking into account EU requirements.
