Shmyhal about Ukraine’s recovery: France has certain projects in logistics and transport sector

Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal has discussed support for Ukraine’s reconstruction with the special envoy of the French President, Pierre Heilbronn, and French Minister Delegate for Transport Clément Beaune.

According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Prime Minister wrote this on Telegram.

"France will provide support for Ukraine’s recovery. In particular, it has certain projects in the field of logistics and transport. This was discussed today at a meeting with French Minister Delegate for Transport Clément Beaune, and special envoy of the President of France for Ukraine’s relief and reconstruction Pierre Heilbronn," he wrote.

Shmyhal thanked the French partners for the assistance provided for the reconstruction of Chernihiv region, as well as for the strong support in all directions.

Among other things, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of implementing rapid reconstruction this year and called on France and French business to join the implementation of these projects.

"According to Mr. Beaune, French companies are interested in strengthening their representation in Ukraine. We look forward to close and fruitful cooperation," Shmyhal added.

As reported by Ukrinform, Ukraine and France signed a memorandum on strengthening cooperation in assessing the damage and restoring Ukrainian transport systems, with an emphasis on the transition to low-carbon mobility.
