Energy Ministry: Ukrainian power generation works with reserve capacity

As of the morning of March 15, the Ukrainian power generation works with reserve capacity and fully meets the needs of consumers.

"On Wednesday, March 15, the power system continues to operate without restricting consumers and with reserve capacity. Today, the power generation fully meets the needs of electricity consumers, having a sufficient reserve capacity," the press service of the Ministry of Energy posted on Telegram.

It is noted that in some regions, in particular, Zhytomyr and Kyiv regions, short-term power outages are possible due to power grid repairs.

"Over the past day, electricity supply was restored to the districts of Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions affected by Russian shelling," the Ministry of Energy added.

As reported, on March 14, stabilization shutdowns were imposed on several districts of Kyiv region and Kyiv city due to damaged energy infrastructure.
