ARMA offers 9.7 thousand tonnes of Russian ammonia for sale

The Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) has put up for auction another batch of seized ammonia, originating in Russia.

The relevant statement was made by the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA), an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“The ARMA has offered for sale via the trading platform 9.739 thousand tonnes of seized ammonia, originating in Russia,” the report states.

Bid requests will be received from 09:00 a.m., March 3, 2023, until 09:00 a.m., March 14, 2023.

The assets are now kept in isothermal storage facilities at Odesa Port Plant JSC.

The funds received from sales are used by the ARMA to purchase war bonds, i.e. to finance the country’s defense needs amid the war with Russia.

A reminder that the ARMA has already sold over 32,000 tonnes of seized Russian ammonia via public auctions, totaling more than UAH 1.1 billion.
