Kamyshin resigns as Ukrzaliznytsia head

Chairman of the Board of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia Oleksandr Kamyshin has stated he is leaving the post.

"The 369th day of the war. The railway continues to operate according to schedule. And I am resigning. Under a joint decision agreed with Vice Prime Minister [Oleksandr] Kubrakov, I will head the office for European integration of Ukrzaliznytsia in Europe," Oleksandr Kamyshin wrote on Telegram.

He thanked President Volodymyr Zelensky and Deputy Prime Minister for the Reconstruction of Ukraine - Minister of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development Oleksandr Kubrakov for the high evaluation of his work at the position, as well as all his colleagues.

As reported, Oleksandr Kamyshin was appointed acting Chairman of the Board of Ukrzaliznytsia in August 2021. In March 2022, he became Chairman of the Board on a permanent basis for a period of four years.
